Kate Middleton praised by Queen’s photographer for ‘wonderful pictures, beautifully shot’ of her children

Her photographic skills were praised by Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait photographer, Hugo Rittson Thomas, who talked with People magazine about the photos taken by the 34-year-old royal.

“I thought they were wonderful pictures, beautifully shot,” Rittson Thomas told the publication.

The Duchess was behind the camera on several occasions, even capturing Princess Charlotte’s first official photo.

This month, Prince William’s wife also released adorable pictures of her daughter on her first birthday.

The Queen’s photographer revealed that he was impressed with Kate’s photographic skills.

“I was quite taken aback by her knowledge of photography. She asked a lot of technical questions about what I was doing and the set up – she almost caught me out a few times actually!” the photographer said.

Besides taking snapshots of her adorable children, the Duchess also captured breathtaking landscapes during her and Prince William’s tour of Southeast Asia back in 2012.
