During their appearance alongside Prince Harry at the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, the Duchess, née Kate Middleton, was heard calling her husband by a sweet nickname and vice versa.
While the Duke, 33, spoke about plants with Charlie Albone, an Australian television presenter and landscape designer, his wife revealed the nickname she uses for her husband.
“He came up and said: ‘What [flower] is this one?’ ” the Australian landscape designer told Australia’s Today Show. “And I replied, ‘That’s a Buxus.’ ”
Albone added, “Princess Catherine just turned to him and said, ‘Babe, we’ve got those. We’ve got loads of those.’ ”
But that’s not all. Designer Margaret Knight revealed another affectionate moniker William uses when addressing his wife.
“William asked Kate, ‘Could you make one of these, darling?’ ” Knight told reporters [via People].
Cute, right? And classy too.
