Kate Middleton talks George’s excitement for the Trooping the Colour celebrations


The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, opened up about her son’s enthusiasm for the big event, while stepping out at the Patron’s Lunch on The Mall on Sunday.

George was reportedly so excited that he actually kept a close eye on the weather.

“She was saying that George opened the door today and said, ‘it’s not very nice out today mummy, is it?’ She said ‘No, it isn’t George,'” Ella Hunter-Gibbs, who talked to the 34-year-old mother, revealed. [via HELLO!]

One day before, his sister, Princess Charlotte, made her Trooping the Colour debut along with the royals. The adorable 1-year-old was dressed up in a pink dress.

During her outing for the Patron’s Lunch celebrations on The Mall, Catherine revealed one of her favorite spots to take her children.
