Famed leaker Evan Blass has offered some valuable information regarding the launch of the iPhone 7.

According to the blogger, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus could arrive in stores on Friday, September 16.

Blass also revealed on twitter that pre-orders for the smartphone are set to start Friday, September 9.

If Apple sticks to its traditional launching schedule, the keynote will likely be held in the preceding days, possibly on Tuesday, September 6.

As far as features are concerned, a report by Macotakara claims that the iPhone 7 will come with a capacitive home button with support for 3D Touch.

The device will sport a virtual button that could simulate the physical sensations of the current button, via haptic feedback, similar to Force Touch trackpads on MacBook Pros.

Based on a leaked photo that surfaced online on Weibo, the device will be available in rose, gold and silver, as well as a rose gold version.

The new iPhone will feature a metal shell similar to the one found on current models, with visible antennas at the top and bottom edges and a dual camera.

A video posted on the same social media site made a comparison of a rose gold iPhone 7 and a 4.7-inch iPhone 6s, also in rose gold.

Apple seems to be planning to replace the usual audio jack with a Lightning connector.

A notable aspect in the video is that the new jack adapter displays an error when it connects to a device running iOS 9, but it works perfectly on devices with a beta of iOS 10.

Given these new changes, it will be impossible to listen to music and charge the device at the same time.

A recent leak claims that the Apple keynote will take place September 6 and pre-orders will start three days later.

The release date hasn’t been confirmed yet but famed leaker Evan Blass seems to be in on a secret.

The blogger recently announced via Twitter that pre-orders for the iPhone 7 are set to start Friday, September 9.

“Confirmed: Pre-orders start on the 9th. You can extrapolate the launch event date from there,” he wrote in a tweet.

Based on this new leak, it’s perhaps safe to assume that the keynote will take place in the preceding days.

Given that September 5 is Labor Day, an official launch on Tuesday, September 6, seems like a safe bet.

Not long ago the same blogger claimed that the smartphone would be launched in the week of September 12.

According to a report by Macotakara, the iPhone 7 will have a new feature – a capacitive home button with support for 3D Touch.

The device would sport a virtual button that could simulate the physical sensations of the current button, thanks to haptic feedback.

It would operate on the same technology as Force Touch trackpads on MacBook Pros.

In addition to enhancing the robustness of the smartphone, this development would also help to make the device more waterproof.

The Japanese site also reports that a Space Black version of the iPhone 7 will be introduced, adding up to a total of five colors, including space gray, gold, rose gold and silver.

iPhone 7 leaks showcase new sensor, compares rose gold version to iPhone 6s

Recently, a new photo has leaked online on Weibo and shows three iPhone 7 Plus devices in rose, gold and silver, as well as a rose gold version.

The devices feature a metal shell similar to the one found on current models, with very visible antennas placed at the top and bottom edges.

However, the most eye-catching feature is definitely the dual camera which is said to be the same 12 megapixels sensor as on its predecessor.

In addition, a short video was posted on the same social media site, showing a supposed rose gold iPhone 7 compared to a 4.7-inch iPhone 6s, also in rose gold.

According to a report by DigiTimes, Apple is said to be working on bringing secure eye scanning technology to the iPhone in the next two years.

The site claims that the company might introduce the new feature in 2018, presumably with the iPhone 8.

“Samsung is expected to lead all vendors by releasing its new flagship smartphone supporting iris recognition technology in the second half of 2016, while Apple is likely to roll out new iPhone devices with iris sensors in 2018…” the report reads.

According to the report, many Chinese manufacturers have been working work on their own biometrics technology for smartphones and other devices.

Also, manufacturers of smartphone components like Qualcomm have been seeking to strengthen their efforts to develop iris-scanning and sensor technologies for smartphone vendors.

According to famed leaker Evan Blass, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus could hit shelves on Friday, September 16th.

Blass ventured a prediction on the subject over the weekend, as he tweeted, “iPhone 2016 release: week of September 12th.”

Given the reactions to his tweet, the blogger had to clarify his remarks later in another message that said, “Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.”

The information seems consistent with previous models launch dates: the iPhone 6S was released on September 25, 2015, while the iPhone 6 arrived in stores on September 19, 2014.

New features for the device include a slightly modified design with more discrete antennas, a larger battery, and at least 32GB of base storage.

An improved camera and optical image stabilization are rumored features of the 4.7-inch model, while the 5.5-inch version is expected to sport a dual-lens camera and 3GB of RAM.

Kate Middleton isn’t pregnant with her third child, nor is she due on Christmas

According to last week’s edition of Life & Style, the 34-year-old royal’s third baby should arrive somewhere around Christmas. But Gossip Cop denied the pregnancy report.

Anyway, the same magazine claimed in April that the Duchess, née Kate Middleton, and her husband Prince William, 34, were to become parents of twins.

The publication even claimed that the couple was expecting baby no. 3 back in January and that they had shared the news with their families on Christmas.

However, until an official pregnancy announcement from the Kensington Palace, any report regarding a new royal pregnancy should be taken with reservation.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s new sailing engagement announced by the Palace

Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s parents will be heading to the south coast of England on July 24th for the second edition of the annual sailing event, Kensington Palace confirmed on its official Twitter page on Monday, July 11.

Willliam and Kate, both 34, will pay a visit to the base of Ben Ainslie Racing, in Portsmouth, to learn about the projects of the team that is behind new sailing technology.

The Duke and Duchess also stepped out at the sailing contest last July, where Catherine, who is a keen sailor, chatted with the children present at the event about her sailing skills.

“Kate spent a lot of time talking to the children about their experiences on the boats,” Motiv8’s Claire Ansell told People magazine.

“Kate told us that she really liked sailing and actually got quite technical about things – talking about tacking and other different things that you can do with a boat. The children understood what she meant, and it was really lovely for them. They were all very excited.”
