Kate Middleton reveals she would secretly love to be a farmer

During a trip to Cornwall, Kate said that it was important for her to keep her children close to nature.

Catherine revealed that she is teaching her children, Prince George, 3, and little Charlotte, 1, everything about farming.

“She said she was teaching George and Charlotte all about the farm at Sandringham,” 15-year-old Bea Hodge of the local organization Wadebridge Young Farmers told reporters.

“She’s been teaching George the difference between barley and wheat and everything they grow on the farm there. She wants the children to learn all about farming and the apples in their orchard. She said she’d secretly like to be a young farmer.” [via People]

The Duchess is known to be a supporter of a healthy lifestyle and she loves growing organic vegetables at her Norfolk estate, Anmer Hall.

Last year it was reported that she was planning to set up an organic food range and direct the profit generated from selling the products to charity.

Prince William and his wife began their two-day trip through the Duchy of Cornwall on Thursday, September 1.
