The Duchess of Cambridge
On Saturday, William and Kate paid a visit to the Cridge Centre for the Family, a charitable institution that offers childcare and support for women who have experienced domestic violence.
An attendee got the chance to chat with the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, about food and found out which are George’s favorite dishes.
“Kate asked me what I like to do and I told her cooking. She asked me what and I said Italian like pizza and pasta and she said George loves that,” Zara Auld from Victoria said. [via Hello!]
The Duke was seen talking about the fishing trip in Haida Gwaii the day before and joking about it with British Colombia premier Christy Clark.
“We didn’t catch anything! It’s typical whenever we go anywhere all the best laid plans go to pot,” he said. “That salmon was the biggest fish I’ve seen! It was a great day,” he said.
In a statement released by Kensington Palace, William said he and Kate were “incredibly grateful” to the Canadians for their warm welcome.
