During a visit at the National Football Museum in Manchester with Kate, William revealed that his daughter is a soccer fan.
“Charlotte is the one who shows more aptitude [for soccer],” William said, while talking to England women’s team captain, Steph Houghton, and her teammate Jill Scott. “George is sort of getting into it slowly, but Charlotte is showing more aptitude. They’re great.” [via HELLO!]
During the visit, the Duke of Cambridge got his hands on the 1966 World Cup football and scored a penalty shoot.
When asked by former soccer star Roger Hunt whether he plays soccer, William said: “I play a little bit, at school and university mostly. Rugby I’ve stopped, too many injuries. I do a bit of swimming as well.”
“We do quite a bit of running around after our kiddies,” Kate added.
The royal pair was greeted by children holding royal masks outside the museum.
The Cambridges ended the day with a visit at Francis House, a children and young adults’ hospice originally opened by Princess Diana.
