On Monday, a gala dinner took place at Buckingham Palace, marking the cultural exchange that will take place between the UK and India in 2017.
Several members of the royal family showed up to support Queen Elizabeth, but it was especially Duchess of Cambridge who caught everyone’s attention.
Catherine literally sparkled in a gorgeous dress from the house of Erdem and earrings by Indian designer Anita Dongre.

For her part, the 90-year-old monarch wore a Stewart Parvin violet dress.
William and Kate were able to interact with their guests, besides exhibits from past royal visits, documents from the Royal Library, and a buffet of specialties inspired by the Indian gastronomy.
