Rebecca Bridges-Wheeler is Lewis’ mother, a baby born at just 23 weeks and currently in intensive care. Kate comforted her and listened to her talk about her problem.
Lewis’ brother asked Kate, “Where’s George today?” to which the Duchess replied: “George? I should have brought him. He’s at his Montessori nursery today making pancakes.” [via HELLO!]
James then warned Kate, “there’s a thunderstorm coming!” and her response followed quick: “Yes I know all about those. George likes storms too!”
The engagement took place on Pancake Day or “Shrove Tuesday”, the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday in the U.K., also known as “Fat Tuesday” in the US.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, opened a new “home away from home” accommodation that will help families find the time to accompany children undergoing treatment at Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
