Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry support Heads Together campaign with short films

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry presented 10 short films on Thursday within their Heads Together campaign, which seeks to change the national conversation about such problems.

The campaign encourages discussion on mental health, including through the release of Internet videos.

In one of them comedienne Ruby Wax is talking with her husband about the moment she realized that she was suffering from depression.

Cricketer Freddie Flintoff is among those commenting on his experiences with anxiety and depression.

“The hardest thing for me initially was talking,” he says. “I’m not a big talker. I’m from the North of England, I’m from a working class family, we don’t talk about our feelings.”

Rapper Professor Green adds: “It’s no different from me growing up in a council estate in East London – it’s just not something that was spoken about.”

Heads Together is a project of the royal family aimed at combating prejudice towards those who suffer from mental illness.
