The classic dress became the desire of many women around the world as it sold out just hours after the royal showed it at the event.
Kate went on stage, where she was presented with a pair of gold tap shoes with red ribbons by the producers of the show.

The event is of great importance to the Duchess as the musical is used to collect donations for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH), of which she has been a patron since 2012.
