Kate Middleton and Prince William co-host BBC Radio 1 chart show

Most people think that thanks to the huge amount of money to which they have access the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge must be living a fairy tale life.

However, in an interview with BBC Radio 1 the couple denies rumors of a lavish lifestyle. They spoke about their everyday life and it appears to be surprisingly normal.

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, revealed some secrets about their lives at home. The two like to watch series. Prince William is currently very fond of Homeland and Game of Thrones.

They sometimes dare to order Indian or Chinese food and Kate said that she likes spicy curry dishes. However, they do not let their food be delivered to the front door of the palace and they have someone on staff pick up the order for them.

They also admitted that they rarely attend parties because they are usually quickly recognized. The last concert that they went to was Coldplay performing at Wembley Stadium.

Prince William was particularly in the mood to joke:. “I felt very privileged,” he said about once having the chance to get a shout out from former DJ Sara Cox. “I’m probably on the edge of your age limit, I’m probably supposed to go on Radio 2 now but I’m hanging on in there.”

When the subject turned to going incognito to music festivals, the prince referred to his dance moves that were caught on camera during a recent ski holiday in Switzerland. Charlotte and George’s father had been filmed performing a dad-dancing choreography.

William quipped: “I’ve got into enough trouble with my dancing recently. So it’s probably best to stay away from that one.”

This isn’t the first time that Kate and William talk openly about their private lives. Earlier this week the couple and Prince Harry opened up about their own personal struggles in a video released in support of their Heads Together campaign.
