Prince Harry calls Duchess Kate the ‘big sister he never had’

Although he is usually very discreet about his relationship with his family, the prince confessed that he is very close to Duchess Kate.

According to a Newsweek interview with Harry, when his brother married Kate, he knew he now had a big sister to count on.

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, helped to fill the void caused by the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

“There was no filling the hole left by Diana’s death, and Harry seemed to be growing up without someone emotionally available he could lean on,” the article reads.

“Kate has helped fill some of that gap. When she and William got engaged, Harry called her the big sister he never had. He often pops into their apartment at Kensington Palace, where she cooks him a meal — roast chicken is reportedly a particular favorite.”

Now with a new love interest, Prince Harry finally seems ready to start his own family.

A recent report claimed that the 32-year-old royal has received Queen Elizabeth’s permission to propose to his girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle.

So it seems that the royal trio will soon turn into a beautiful quartet.

Duchess Kate’s next engagement scheduled at Victoria and Albert Museum

On Thursday the royal mom-of-two will be present at the official opening of the museum’s new entrance, courtyard and exhibition gallery on Exhibition Road.

Duchess Kate will also get the chance to visit the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter’s new spaces.

The engagement will also include a tour of The Sackler Courtyard – the world’s first porcelain tiled public courtyard – and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, followed by a short reception in The Blavatnik Hall.

The V&A Exhibition Road Quarter is the museum’s largest architectural project in the last 100 years.

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, is known to be an art lover, given that she graduated with a with a master of arts degree in art history at St. Andrews University.

She has been patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012. In addition, she has proven her passion for photography on several occasions, with Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s official portraits or photos she took during her and Prince William’s 2012 tour of Southeast Asia.

Duchess Kate isn’t pregnant with baby no.3, despite report

Life & Style magazine alleges that Duchess Kate is pregnant and that the announcement is official.

The report reads, “The House of Windsor is getting a new member! Kate Middleton officially reveals she’s expecting baby No. 3.”

However, Gossip Cop denies the report, citing a palace insider who says that there hasn’t been any “official announcement” about a new royal pregnancy.

Rumors of a third child on the way for the royal couple have constantly surfaced. Last year in October the same publication claimed that William was actually concerned for his wife’s wellbeing during the alleged new pregnancy.

Also, the same magazine alleged in the spring of 2016 that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting twins.

So it seems highly probable that this is just another fake report.

Meghan Markle avoids Prince Harry questions at ATX panel

The couple met last summer, while the Prince was on a tour to promote the Invictus Games in Canada.

Last weekend, to mark the 100th episode of the Suits series, in which Meghan plays the lawyer Rachel Zane, the 35-year-old and the rest of the cast were the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas.

The actors performed a live reading of the Suits pilot episode and then opened up the floor for questions from the audience.

And when asked if she hoped to marry Prince Harry the 35-year-old actress did not have an answer to the question. Instead she smiled and said absolutely nothing.

Meghan didn’t escape being teased by fellow cast members as her co-star, Rick Hoffman, suggested she read her part of the script in a British accent.

Last month the couple could be seen together at Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews.

Kate Middleton and Prince William to embark on royal tour of Poland and Germany

An announcement made by Kensington Palace on Twitter read, “The Duke and Duchess will tour Poland and Germany from 17-21 July visiting Warsaw, Gdansk, Berlin, Heidelberg, and Hamburg.”

On July 17 the royal couple will arrive in Warsaw, Poland, where they will visit the city of Gdansk. Their official visit will end in the German city of Hamburg on 21 July.

Kensington Palace hasn’t mentioned until now whether Prince George or Princess Charlotte will be taken along.

William and Kate visited Paris in March and the Duchess also went on a solo trip to Luxembourg last month.

Further details about the tour will be made public by the Palace.

Kate Middleton reveals her and Pippa’s nicknames in school

The royal is accustomed to having different nicknames, with her first name, Catherine, being replaced by the diminutive Kate. Also, after marrying Prince William she became the Duchess of Cambridge.

While visiting her former elementary school St Andrews, in Pangbourne, Berkshire, the 35-year-old remembered the wonderful years she spent there.

However, the mother-of-two also admitted that classmates would call her by the nickname “Squeak.”

According to The Mirror, Catherine revealed that “Squeak” was also the name of the school’s guinea pig.

“There was one called Pip and one called Squeak, so my sister was called Pip and I was Squeak,” she said.

No doubt, the Duchess is most likely happy with her current titles.

Duchess Kate shines in marine outfit at London event

Appearing in an affordable outfit, Duchess Kate decided to recycle her clothes by wearing an old white blazer from Zara which she had already used in 2016 during the official visit to Canada.

The look was completed with a pair of navy blue trousers with gold buttons and plaid shoes, both from J.Crew, all retailing for just over $400.

The trousers and the shoes have already been sold out, as with almost everything Kate wears. Classy and elegant, the Duchess proves that a low-cost look can be successful.

The event was organized by the 1851 Trust, of which Kate is a patron.

Prince Harry reportedly received the Queen’s permission to marry Meghan Markle

The latest rumors claim that Princess Diana’s son is totally enamored and is likely to pop the question in the near future.

According to sources cited by Star magazine, the prince has received Queen Elizabeth’s permission to propose to the Suits actress. The insider even spoke of an “imminent engagement.”

“The way it’s going, the engagement will probably happen this year,” a source told the publication. [via Daily Express] “Harry has got approval from the queen to propose to Meghan. He’s already had those conversations with Her Majesty. An engagement is imminent.”

The Queen’s blessing would put an end to weeks of uncertainty. The American actress was previously married to producer Trevor Engleson but they divorced in 2014.

A sign that the royal family has accepted their relationship was the fact that Meghan Markle received an invitation to Pippa Middleton’s wedding.

The 35-year-old actress became known for her role in the series Suits, where she has been playing the role of an assistant in a law firm since 2011.

Duchess of Cambridge will attend 1851 Trust Roadshow

The royal is set to attend the charity’s last Land Rover BAR Roadshow event at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre on Friday 16 June.

The event seeks to be an inspiration to primary and secondary schools to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects.

The Duchess of Cambridge will meet students from four East London schools at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre for the roadshow.

Kate will participate in an educational treasure hunt in which she will collaborate with a small group of young people to answer technology and science questions.

Since the Trust and the team have been focusing on the damage caused by single use plastics and the promotion of sustainability an oceans plastics activity will also be organized for this occasion.

The mother-of-two and some of the children will meet Sir Ben Ainslie, the Team Principal and Skipper of Land Rover BAR, who has undertaken engagements with the Duchess in the past.

Kate Middleton and Mandy Moore wear the same $1250 dress

Mandy Moore wowed on the red carpet on Wednesday in a royal blue version of a Preen By Thornton Bregazzi dress. And Mandy is not alone in being a fan of the fashion line.

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, sported a cherry red version of the same dress during her royal tour of Canada in September 2016.

She accessorized her look with a diamond-encrusted maple leaf brooch, white earrings, matching red pumps and a red clutch.

However, neither of them was the first to rock the dress. Emmy Rossum sported the stunning red piece at a bridal shower in her honor on Sunday, September 25, just a day prior to Kate appearing in the same dress.
