The Prince and his girlfriend made a public appearance on Monday, September 25, at a wheelchair tennis match as part of the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada.
The public appearance of the couple at this edition of the Invictus Games formalized their relationship.
In addition, the prince now openly talks about his girlfriend of 14 months. On Wednesday, the Queen’s grandson met a team of cyclists.
One of them, a former US Air Force Master Sergeant, dared to talk about the subject that fascinates fans of the royal family.
“I asked him how his girlfriend was enjoying it and he said, ‘She loves it, she’s loving the games,’ which is awesome,” Burnett told People magazine.
The Invictus Games are a sports competition for wounded and disabled soldiers and war veterans, created in 2014 by Prince Harry.
Pregnant with the royal couple’s third child, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, suffers from morning sickness.
Since the announcement of her third pregnancy, Duchess Kate makes few public appearances as she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), a severe form of morning sickness. Her condition is characterized by severe vomiting, nausea and weight loss.
Because of this, the Duchess had to postpone most of her royal duties and could not be present for the first day of school of her eldest son, Prince George.
This week, Prince William was present at a charity reception and awards ceremony for the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund at London’s Guildhall.
While speaking with 98-year-old Iris Orrell, who went through the same ordeal as Kate while pregnant, William gave news of Kate’s state of health.
“She’s been feeling better, thank you,” he said when asked about his wife. He also revealed that Kate had tried ginger biscuits to ease the suffering.
“Ginger biscuits — but there’s not much ginger can do to stop that. We’ve done all that,” he said.
Unfortunately, Kate is still far from her due date. According to rumors that are constantly running, the royal should give birth around the month of March.
The royal let slip indications that suggest the baby could arrive sooner than we expected.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, has not yet passed the first term, but she has been forced to cancel an official appointment, after suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum again.
Now, two weeks after the announcement of Kate’s third pregnancy, Prince William sowed doubt on the date of birth of their future child.
In order to reassure fans, during a visit with Spitalfields Crypt Trust, a charity in East London, Prince William implied that Duchess Kate has finally crossed the hardest part – the first quarter.
After a midwife congratulated him on the new pregnancy, William replied, “All the best with the midwifery. I may see you sooner than you think.”
In a statement released on Sept. 4, Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with the couple’s third child and that she is suffering from extreme morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, is set to make her return to the public eye sooner than expected.
This month the royal couple announced some very good news: the arrival of their third child.
However, Kate had to be admitted to hospital because of hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that affects her when pregnant.
But according to Kensington Palace, the Duchess will soon resume her engagements. She is scheduled to re-appear on October 10 to attend a reception on World Mental Health Day, alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, at Buckingham Palace.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend a reception at Buckingham Palace on World Mental Health Day,” a tweet from Kensington Palace read.
“The reception on Tuesday 10 October will celebrate the contribution of those working in the mental health sector across the UK.”
The royal pair is said to be thinking of a “traditional but down-to-earth” name for royal baby no. 3.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, announced this month that she is expecting her third child.
And in August a source revealed that the Middleton sisters are dreaming of getting pregnant together.
According to US Weekly, Kate and William have been waiting for the right time to expand their family and the opportunity may just have arrived with the wedding of Pippa to James Matthews.
The sisters have always been close and have shared the desire of getting pregnant at the same time at some point in their lives.
“It’s long been a dream for Kate and Pippa to be pregnant at the same time,” a Middleton family friend told the publication. “To share that would be amazing.”
Long before their wedding, Pippa and Matthews, 42, were talking about taking the next step.
“Pippa’s always said how great it would be if they were to be expecting together,” the source added.
“Starting a family is something they’ve talked about long before they got married,” a friend of Kate’s little sister said. “Pippa has always meant how good it would be if they were expecting babies together.”
The announcement for a third royal baby has been made by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this month. We can only wait for similar news from Pippa and James.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will keep it “traditional” when it comes to naming royal baby no. 3.
The royal pair announced their new pregnancy merely a week ago, sparking a flurry of bets on the possible name for the baby.
However, according to Christian Turner, global naming director at Siegel+Gale, the couple is likely to opt for a “traditional but down-to-earth” name.
“The key consideration when naming a royal baby is the fine balance between tradition and accessibility,” Turner told Hello! magazine. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will want the fifth-in-line to the throne to bear a name worthy of such weight, and it’s therefore likely they will choose a solid, traditional name with strong links to royalty. At the same time, they won’t want to appear old-fashioned or haughty, so choosing a name the public can embrace is equally important.”
“George and Charlotte are excellent examples of names that strike the balance perfectly; royal by tradition, solid in heritage, both names have enjoyed a resurgence over the last decade, and it’s not uncommon to hear either name being called in the local playground. This is common of the style of this generation of royals, who want to be more down-to-earth than their predecessors,” he added.
The princely couple is getting ready to welcome royal baby no.3.
The news was confirmed on Monday by Kensington Palace. The pregnancy is said to be less than 12 weeks and it will be the couple’s third child in 5 years.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, was apparently forced to make the announcement as she had to cancel an engagement on Monday because of extreme morning sickness.
“Their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news,” a statement from the Palace read.
“As with her previous two pregnancies, the duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Her royal highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road children’s centre in London today. The duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”
It seems that recent speculation about a third royal pregnancy proved correct. After receiving a toy during a trip to Poland in July, Kate joked with her husband about the need to “have more babies,” feeding the rumors of a third pregnancy.
Whether it’s a girl or boy, the future baby will take fifth place in succession to the British throne, behind Prince Charles, William and George and Charlotte. This royal baby will relegate Prince Harry to sixth place.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will accompany their eldest son, Prince George, 4, on his return to kindergarten.
For little George’s return to classes, the royal couple decided to do away with the drivers and staff made available and take him to school themselves.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanying Prince George, will be met on arrival at the school by the Head of Lower School, Helen Haslem, who will then escort Their Royal Highnesses to Prince George’s reception classroom,” a statement from Kensington Palace announced. [via People]
Thus on September 7 the royal pair will be at Thomas Elementary School, in the Battersea district of London, for the beginning of the school year.
Like Diana before them, Kate and William are keen to offer their children a “normal” education. They have thus overruled the royal protocol which requires children to study through homeschooling, and opted for a “regular” school instead.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, recently revealed that her daughter has something in common with her late grandmother.
Even though she will never have the chance to meet her maternal grandmother, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997, Princess Charlotte will be happy to have inherited one of the princess’ great passions: dance.
During her visit at the Princess Diana garden at Kensington Palace on Wednesday with Prince William and Prince Harry, Kate revealed that the 2-year-old is attending dance classes.
“She absolutely loves it,” she said while chatting to English National Ballet director Tamara Rojo about Diana’s passion for dancing.[via Hello!]
During the conversation, Prince William went into detail about Lady Di’s passion: “She loved dancing, she was a fantastic dancer. We’ve been going through her music collection recently and there’s some quite eclectic stuff in there. She was elated by the skill.”
William and Kate have revealed that they try to bring Diana’s memory into their children’s life.
In the documentary “Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy”, the Duke explained that he tells his children stories about his mother.
“So we’ve got more photos up round the house now of her and we talk about her a bit and stuff. And it’s hard because obviously Catherine didn’t know her, so she cannot really provide that – that level of detail. So I – I do regularly put George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers in their lives, and so it’s important that they – they know who she was and that she existed,” the Prince said.
Is the royal family expanding?
Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, was reportedly rushed to King Edward VII Hospital and this had worried her fans a lot. Duchess Kate was reportedly admitted for a day before being released the next day, according to Woman’s Day.
But since this is the same hospital she visited when she was pregnant with George and Charlotte, rumors are claiming that she could be pregnant again.
Lately there has been a lot of speculation about a third royal pregnancy and the media are looking for the slightest sign that would confirm such news.
Bookmakers in UK are already accepting bets on the baby’s sex.
In addition, last month Kate made a joke about having another baby after receiving a toy in Poland, saying, “We will just have to have more babies.”
According to Gossip Cop, no official statement was made concerning the hospitalization.
