As you’ve probably read in a recent article, Koenigsegg No Longer Wants Saab.Joran Hagglund, state secretary at Sweden’s Industry Ministry, said that “I talked to GM last night and my impression is that they have not given up hope.”Still, no other bidders have emerged for the brand, thus leaving GM with two choices: restart the sale process or to give up the brand.“For every day that passes the challenge gets bigger and bigger,” said Swedish Enterprise Minister Maud Olofsson.Rumor has it that the Chinese automaker BAIC is interested in acquiring Saab. The company stated that they would like to become more international, but specialists say that this unlikely to happen.
