Kate Winslet has a relationship with a top model
Actress Kate Winslet began a relationship with the top model Louis Dowler, trying to gloss over separation from director Sam Mendes, inform thesun.co.uk, quoting News of the World.
Kate Winslet met Louis Dowler, 34, a few months ago through mutual friends and became inseparable. Louis Dowler appeared in several campaigns for Burberry brand, along with the famous Kate Moss.
“Louis has been spending a lot of time with Kate recently and they were in New York together while he was shooting an advert.” said a source close to them.
“They’ve been on lots of dates and get on really well. It’s early days for them but they enjoy each other’s company.”
“They have been desperate to keep the relationship under wraps so they’ve been a bit low-key so far.” “Louis has a good sense of humour and really is a lovely guy.”
“He loves to surf and he’s really quite engaging and very down-to-earth. He’s a good looking guy and gets lots of attention when he’s out and about – but he’s not your typical model. Not at all big-headed”, said the same source close to them.
Kate Winslet has a discrete life since her break with Mendes in March. Shortly after the official announcement, she left with her children, Joe and Mia, in Mexico.
Winslet and Mendes met through their mutual friend – good actress Emma Thompson, in 2001, shortly after Kate’s divorce from Jim Threapleton. Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have married in 2003 and lived, most of the time, in New York and the UK.
Mendes and Winslet announced in March that they broke up. Several weeks ago, the information appeared that the two will spend together this summer, trying “to
reignite the spark” between them, at one of the couple’s residences in Britain.
