Katy Perry and Pink donate their shoes for the benefit of victims of antipersonnel mines

Katy Perry and Pink are among the celebrities who donate pairs of shoes created by famous designers, at a charity gala organized for the benefit of persons injured by mines in war.

In this action, organized by the Mines Advisory Group (MAG), are involved more than 60 celebrities from around the world. Bidding will begin Thursday, on eBay. Among other stars attending the event is the singer Nelly Furtado, actress Joanne Lumley, actor David Walliams, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, singer Shirley Bassey, model Twiggy and soccer players Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

The shoes were created by top brands such as Givenchy, Dior and Prada.

All pairs of shoes, signed by celebrities, can be admired and purchased at “Give Landmines The Boot”, which will begin Thursday and end on August 1. The funds obtained through this online auction will pay the demining programs designed by MAG, implemented in many regions of the world.
