Mercedes launched a new slogan to promote the new line of integrated vision of the brand, which will be included in the German brand communication.
“The best or nothing” is the new philosophy behind the Germans at Mercedes. The new motto of the Stuttgart manufacturer has been chosen to exemplify the true values of the brand: perfection, fascination and responsibility. With the new slogan, Mercedes will begin a media campaign that will “invade” the Internet, newspapers and television stations.
Switching to “The Best or Nothing” coincides with the presentation of the brand plans for next year, when Mercedes will address to premium segment by introducing 16 new models. Stuttgart manufacturer plans to bring to market several versions of A-Class E-Cell, B-Class F-Cell, along with an electric Smart Fortwo.
Also, Mercedes will unveil this fall a new generation of V6 and V8 engines, called BlueDirect. Aspirated 3.5-liter V6 will be directly able to produce up to 301 horsepower and can develop a maximum torque of 368 Nm.
V8 4.6-liter twin-turbo will deliver 429 horsepower and develops 700 Nm of torque. New V6 and V8 engines will be able to provide a fuel consumption 24 percent lower than the old range of engines. In addition, Mercedes will introduce its most models the Start & Stop function, designed to reduce urban consumption.
