Morgan niche manufacturer has unveiled in Geneva its intention to launch in August this year a new concept, which will give birth to a production model sports at the earliest in 2012.
The Auto Show in Geneva did not bring anything special to the Morgan stand, maybe a series of statements that have satisfied the curiosity of fans.
British manufacturer is preparing a new model, ready to go out on the street within three years. The claim belongs to Charles Morgan, grandson of the man who founded the niche manufacturer.
Charles has hinted that the exotic brand enthusiasts can get acquainted with a new concept in the Pebble Beach Concours event, which will be held in August this year.
The concept will be a sports car, able to carry up to four passengers that will not compromising the performance, under the hood followed to find a V8 unit.
The series product, which will derive from the concept presented this year, will position somewhere between the traditional Morgan models and high-end Aero, which means that its price will stop somewhere between 40,000 and 50,000 euros. More information about the final model will be unveiled in 2012 or 2013, near the launch.
