This Friday, actress Sandra Bullock and singer Madonna declared they donated some generous amount for the Haitian victims.

This Friday, actress Sandra Bullock and singer Madonna declared they donated some generous amount for the Haitian victims.
Sandra donated $1 million to “Doctors Without Borders” organization for the emergency operation in the Haitian capital, Port-Au-Prince.
“I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event,” said Bullock in a statement.
On the other hand, Madonna’s contribution was $250,000 to a longtime medical provider in Haiti called “Partners In Health”.
“I urge all of my friends and fans around the world to join me collectively to match my contribution or give in any way you can. We must act now”, the entertainer said.
Also this Friday, an advocacy and grand making group called “Not On Our Watch” was founded by George Clooney, Brad Pitt and others, group which raised $ 1 million and donated the money to “Partners in Health”.
Unfortunately, the Red Cross estimated that around 45,000 to 50,000 people were killed on Tuesday because of the earthquake of 7.0 magnitude in Port-au Prince.
