Will Porsche 918 Spyder be produced?

One of the Porsche’s boss said that, in order to produce the 918 Spyder, the Germans need 1000 firm orders from customers. Until now there were only 900 orders.

The car was originally designed only to show the world the environmental potential of the Porsche staff. Moreover, the 918 Spyder could be produced in series due to customer requests.

Porsche 918 Spyder has a hybrid propulsion system consisting of a V8 engine of 500-hp and two electric motors totaling 218 hp.

Moreover, the Porsche 918 Spyder is a full hybrid so that it can travel a long distance only on electricity.
