2014 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible photos leak online?

GM recently showed the coupe version of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray in Detroit.

Now The Auto Insider has posted pictures that allegedly show the convertible design of the C7 Corvette.

Chevrolet representatives insist that these photos are “not official.”

However, according to Motor Trend, a quick search shows that the pics were originally posted on the website of scale model company Maisto.

The site writes that the company may have used a rendering of the Corvette convertible for reference purposes when producing a scale model.
