Auction for star cars: Scooby Doo, The Fast and the Furious and Indiana Jones

An auction house from the US will sell several collection cars which became famous after their debut in Hollywood films.

A major auction for all car collectors is being prepared for the beginning of next month. Volo Auto Museum in Illinois will put up for sale a number of famous cars with legendary film appearances.

The Dark Knight movie brings t the scene two models: a police car with the logo of the Gotham City police and Joker’s car. Heath Ledger, who played the character, was at the wheel of a van with 18-inch wheels in his confrontation with Batman.

Also in the auction, buyers will have the opportunity to buy cars from the fourth episode of The Fast and the Furious series, including an F-Bomb Camaro, an Infini G35, a Buick driven by Vin Diesel in the opening of the film and a 1970 Chevelle. Scooby Doo’s car, the famous Mystery Machine, will also be included, as well as the General Lee from the movie Dukes of Hazzard.

Adventure film Indiana Jones will bring on the stage a military vehicle Gas and a Dodge of the same nature. Cars that have appeared in movies like Herbie: Fully Loaded or Robocop will also be on sale.

Although some models aren’t in a perfect state of functioning, the organizers expect that the cars will be refurbished by the new owners, who will pay large sums for them.
