The car maker is reportedly working on a new model that will be called the Q8.
The new car will be a little bigger than the Q7 model, with the allure of coupé, designed to rival the popular Range Rover.
The Q8 will share the platform with the next-gen Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg, but modified to fit the new size.
The model will benefit from the use of aluminum, which will reduce the total weight by approximately 300 kilograms.
The engine range will be provided by diesel and gasoline units, with six or eight cylinders.
The project is already in an advanced stage of development, but the official launch is not expected before 2017.
