Gemballa has invented a special paint, the world’s first diamond coating.

The paint was developed specifically for the automotive industry and was designed for both interior and exterior.

“When GEMBALLA speaks of diamonds, we really mean it”, says CEO Andreas Schwarz. “Our complex process uses genuine diamonds as its key ingredient – not metal pigments, glass fragments, or crystals.”

The technique presupposes grinding the diamonds into a small size and integrating them into a special paint.

Unlike other automotive paints, the diamond coating from Gemballa uses pieces of diamond, not metal pigments, fragments of glass or crystal.

The price for Gemballa’s new product price hasn’t been disclosed but the paint is likely to be the most expensive paint in the world, given the raw materials needed for production.
