Horacio Pagani has recently stated in a interview that they are working on a roadster version of the supercar Huayra. It is expected to be released over the next three years.

After it stunned the public with photos and then caught the attention of journalists at the Geneva Motor Show, the latest Pagani creation is still a buzz in Europe and the U.S. The success enjoyed by the new Huayra, Zonda’s successor, has entailed a lot of speculation on the evolution of the Italian manufacturer.

Horacio Pagani, the man who founded the company, wanted to slam the false information and to confirm the extension of the range. Huayra will have a roadster derivative, as everyone expected. The statement was made during a recent interview, given by the founder of Pagani: “Yes, surely there will be a model Huayra Roadster in approximately three years.”

Undoubtedly, under the hood of the derivative there will be the same bi-turbo V12 engine, with a 6.0 liter capacity, able to develop a total power of 700 horsepower. The unit will be assisted by the same transmission with seven reports and will be able to propel the new Huayra to a maximum speed of 370 km / h.

Perhaps this value will decrease for the roadster version. But the price will increase and will exceed the current value for the coupe, of 1.35 million dollars.
