After the end of the 18th season, Jeremy Clarkson has announced that there won’t be any show until January 2013.
Asked during an interview on BallzRadio, a South African sports and entertainment news site, Clarkson, star presenter and co-producer of the program, revealed that the show won’t come back on BBC 2 until next year.
Clarkson recently confirmed the bad news via Twitter, saying: “There’s a rumour in internet land that there will be no more Top Gear this year. I’m afraid that apart from an Xmas Special, it’s true.”
The presenter of the long-running series continued: “[We] would love to be back in the autumn but Sunday nights will be full of fat people singing,” referring to Simon Cowell’s X Factor show.
However, Jeremy promises really good episodes in January.
