The official announcement was made by BBC America. The TV show will be called Hard Drive with Richard Hammond..

The head of BBC America, Simon Perry, recently said that Richard Hammond will have his own car show in America.

In Hard Drive, Hammond will travel through the United States to get acquainted with local experts and to drive extraordinary car models built in America.

A trailer for the upcoming production is set to appear soon.

Although there is no information in this regard, it is likely that Hammond’s work in the U.S. won’t interfere with the interests of Top Gear as he is still a member of the team that also includes Clarkson, May and Stig.
