Brabus has made the fastest four- seat convertible in the world, based on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé.

Brabus has developed a package of changes for Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé. The model was named 800 E V12 after a V12 bi-turbo V12 engine that provides 800 hp and 1100 Nm was fixed to it. The engine is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission, reinforced to withstand higher level of torque. The maximum torque provided by the engine is 1420 Nm, but the transmission can’t support a value that high.

The maximum speed of the model is 370 km / h and acceleration from 0-100 km / h is achieved in just 3.7 seconds. A 0-100 km / h sprint is reached in only 9.9 seconds, faster than the 0-100 km / h acceleration for many volume models. To accelerate from 0 to 300 km / h, Brabus 800 E V12 needs only 23.9 seconds. In addition to being the fastest four-seat convertible in the world, it’s also the most powerful one.

To support the new changes, the suspension has been recalibrated, and aerodynamic changes have widened the E-Class Coupé. Each change was tested in wind tunnel and the components used were made of carbon fiber. Brabus 800 E V12 costs 478 000 euros, and it’s only fabricated on orders.
