The 2017 British Academy Film Awards ceremony brought together the world’s top actors and filmmakers in London.

Held on February 12, the gala celebrated its 70th birthday, and Kate’s arrival on the red carpet, along with her husband Prince William, did not go unnoticed.

Braving the cold in London, Catherine attracted the attention and enthusiasm of the fans gathered outside.

The royal mom-of-two made a sensation on the red carpet with her off-the-shoulder floral dress, which she accessorized with a pair of imposing diamond earrings, a shiny silver bracelet and her ring.

For a special occasion such as the Baftas, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, relied on Alexander McQueen, one of her most trusted designers.

Kate famously chose British designer Sarah Burton, of Alexander McQueen’s fashion house, to make her gorgeous lace wedding dress in 2011.

On stage, Prince William presented Mel Brooks with the Fellowship Award, the most prestigious award of the evening.
