“Scream” actress Neve Campbell divorces

Neve Campbell and her husband have separated after three years of marriage. This is the second divorce for the actress.

It seems that the promotion of “Scream 4” will be a case of singles. After the unexpected separation of the glamorous duo Cortney Cox-David Arquette (aka reporter Gail Weathers and agent Dewey on screen), it was the turn of Neve Campbell, who plays Sidney Prescott in the film, to end her marriage.

According to TMZ, in June, the 37-year-old actress filed her request for divorce in total secrecy at the Superior Court of Los Angeles. To end her three years of union with John Light, a 36-year-old British actor, Neve Campbell cited “irreconcilable differences”.

The actress required in her application that no spousal support is paid to her ex-husband.

The couple tied the knot in Malibu, in 2007, and they remain on good terms. “They’re still really close friends, and it was a very amicable divorce,” a source close to the couple says.
