Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take son Pax back to his roots in Vietnam

This is Pax’s first return to his homeland since his adoption from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City in 2007.

Brad and Angelina have often discussed their desire to ensure that their adopted children grow up knowing their roots and the culture of their country of origin.

“We owe Vietnam a visit, because Pax is due,” Jolie, 36, told the Financial Times in July.

“They are all learning about each other’s cultures as well as being proud of their own. They all have their flags over their beds and their individual pride.”

VNExpres, a Vietnamese newspaper online, reports that the family currently resides in the Con Dao island resort in the south.

According to the Daily Mail, the clan was spotted on Friday having lunch in a rustic restaurant known for its traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
