Angelina Jolie explains arm tattoo controversy: it’s for Brad Pitt

In early April, Angelina Jolie, a fan of tattoos, sported a new addition to the long list of geographical coordinates listed on her arm, representing the countries of origin of each of her children.

The new enigmatic line read N351944 W965526. Speculation was rife, claiming the couple was planning to adopt another child.

However, in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress decided to lift the veil off this mysterious inscription.

“Well if they know that it’s latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad’s birthplace.” Jolie told Extra on Wednesday. “It’s Shawnee, Oklahoma.”

This tattoo does not require a comprehensive study to be decrypted. Starting with the latitude and longitude, it was not hard to understand it was actually Pitt’s birthplace.

Jolie, who admits to having no problem talking about adoption with her kids, has revealed that a future adoption is not on their agenda at the moment.
