Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids might become polyglots.
The actress, 41, recently attended BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour on Friday, where she talked about her six children – twins Vivienne and Knox, 7, Shiloh, 10, Zahara, 11, Pax, 12, and Maddox, 14. Jolie opened up about her kids’ cultural openness towards other languages.
“All the kids are learning different languages,” Angelina revealed. “I asked them what languages they wanted to learn and Shi is learning Khmai, which is a Cambodian language, Pax is focusing on Vietnamese, Mad has taken to German and Russian, Z is speaking French, Vivienne really wanted to learn Arabic, and Knox is learning sign language.”
Jolie also revealed during the interview that none of her children wants to get into acting, as they’re more prone to music.
“None of my kids want to be actors. They are actually very interested in being musicians,” she said. “I think they like the process of film from the outside. Mad is interested in editing. Pax loves music and deejaying.”
In 2014, Angelina opened up about love and motherhood in an interview with Elle magazine.
“I never thought I’d have children, I never thought I’d be in love, I never thought I’d meet the right person,” she told the magazine. “Having come from a broken home you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you don’t look for them.”
That same year, the mother-of-six revealed that her eldest son Maddox has a girlfriend who lives in England.
