Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted the affair after his wife confronted him

Media reports say Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mildred Baena admitted that they had had an affair only after Maria Shriver confronted them.

As Maria confronted the housekeeper about Arnold’s illegitimate child she confessed. He admitted too, but only when Shriver asked him.

That means things could have stayed that way if it wasn’t for Maria who found out.

“Maria has suspected this for a long time and she asked the housekeeper,” a source close to the situation revealed. “The housekeeper admitted it.”

Also, Midlred wasn’t fired by Arnold, as early reports claimed, and didn’t threaten him about going public with the story.

“Yes, her employment ended, but without animosity,” a source said. “She was upset with Arnold at the time and didn’t know what to do, she thought about going public, but it was a fleeting thought. Ultimately she didn’t want to hurt Arnold. But she also didn’t want her employment to end. It was a difficult situation.”
