The dress that Audrey Hepburn wore at the Academy Awards gala where she received her first Oscar for the movie “Roman Holiday”, will be auctioned on November 29.

According to Kerry Taylor Auctions UK house experts, the ivory lace dress could be purchased for an amount between £40,000 and £60,000, BBC reports.

The actress wore this dress, created by designer Edith Head, in the final scene of the movie “Roman Holiday” (1953).

The dress was slightly altered for the actress’ appearance at the 1954 Oscars.

Nicknamed her “lucky dress”, the gown will be sold by the family that received it from Hepburn’s mother, along with a letter of authenticity.

The auction will take place on November 29 in London.
