Legendary actress Betty White slams “ungrateful” stars like Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen saying they “don’t appreciate” their fame.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the Golden Girls star, 89, says she worked hard to build up her long lasting career and she’s horrified by performers who don’t appreciate their success.
She says, “They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional and they grumble about everything. I think they are terribly ungrateful. I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too. They are the most blessed people in the world and they don’t appreciate it.”
White evokes show business back in the day: “We considered ourselves lucky … and were always on our best behavior in public.”
“Respect your profession. There is an enormous population out there, who would sell their souls to do what you do. It’s an amazing life, so make sure you appreciate every minute of it,” the actress added.
