According to a new biography that bears the title “Damn You, Scarlett O’Hara,” actress Vivien Leigh, famous for her role as Scarlett in “Gone with the Wind”, has had numerous love affair, with both women and with men.
The book to be published in the United States, describes her relationship with Laurence Olivier as a “promiscuous” one, they cheating on each other, even several months after they became lovers in 1937.
Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier were married from 1940 until 1960, when they divorced.
Rumors say that Leigh cheated on her husband with two of the actors who she played in movies – Marlon Brando and the Rex Harrison.
The volume was signed by Darwin Porter, who met the British actress in the 1960s, and also by Roy Moseley, a former personal assistant of Laurence Olivier that cites a series of memoirs of the actress, unpublished, and statements of witnesses.
According to this biography, Vivien Leigh had sexual relations with at least three women and she also had some sexual relationship with men who prostitute themselves at Scotty’s, a brothel in Los Angeles which operated under the cover of a gas station.
