Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on their latest marriage talk

However, at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. over the weekend, Jolie calmed things down a bit when asked about “a lot of ring-talk lately.”

“I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion,” Angelina, 36, told People on the red carpet.

“Yeah, that was my fault,” Pitt, 48, said smiling.

“It means something to them,” he added, referring to his six children. “We will [get married] someday, we will. It’s a great idea. ‘Get mommy a ring.’ ‘OK, I will, I will.’ ”

Last week, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brad talked about “getting a lot of pressure from the kids” to get married.

“It seems to mean more and more to our kids,” he said. “We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to [get married] till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out … it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”
