Brad Pitt narrowly avoids face-to-face with ex Jennifer Aniston

The run-in at the almost took place at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood on Saturday, where Pitt had brought four of his children, including Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, and Shiloh, 5, to see Hugo, the latest film by Martin Scorsese.

Only minutes after Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux entered he cinema, Brad and his brood left the room for the parking lot.

“Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theatre. They just missed each other!” a source told X17online.

Recently, Brad sparked some controversy after calling his marriage to the former Friends star “boring,” saying that he “wasn’t living an interesting life” and that he “tried to make the marriage something it wasn’t.”

The two exes have been reunited twice in the past since their divorce: at the 2009 Oscars and on a special telethon in support of Haiti in 2010.
