During an interview on the Australian show 60 Minutes, the 47-year-old revealed that he will continue his acting career for the next 3 years.

But Brad won’t necessarily turn his back on the film, saying he would like to devote himself to his vocation as a producer, an activity her holds dear.

Asked how long he would continue in the movie industry, Pitt said: “Three years.”

But when questioned what he would do afterwards, he joked: “Hell if I know!”, adding, “I’ve really enjoyed the producerial [sic] side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise.”

The actor is following in the footsteps of his partner, Angelina Jolie, who had expressed her desire to slow down filming a few months ago.

The star also explained his view on happiness: “I think happiness is overrated. Sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not. There’s too much pressure to be happy. I don’t give a s**t. I know I will be happy sometimes and I won’t be at times. Being at peace is more of a goal for myself.”

As for whether he and partner Angelina Jolie will add to their brood of six, Pitt commented: “I don’t know that we’re finished yet, I don’t know yet.”

Recently, the Brangelina couple decided to take son Pax and their brood to Vietnam , home of the little boy in an effort to ensure that their adopted children grow up knowing their roots and the culture of their country of origin.
