Charlie Sheen spends Thanksgiving with Denise Richards and daughters

Despite all the negative publicity he has been getting lately, Charlie Sheen knows he has a friend to lean on: his ex-wife, Denise Richards, reportedly invited the “Two and a Half Men” actor to celebrate Thanksgiving with their daughters.

Sheen and Richards were married from 2002 until 2005. The two have been at war with each other in the past, but they have since made up for the sake of their daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.

A friend of Charlie reveals to Popeater, “Charlie spent the afternoon eating turkey with Denise and their two daughters. It was a wonderful time for them all to be together and Denise’s idea that they all sit down together as one happy family as if that awful night had never happen.”

“It’s clear the night in New York is far from over,” the same source said, “but at least for one day that topic wasn’t discussed over the Thanksgiving table. All Denise wanted was for her children to spend the holidays with their father. If she has to testify about what she was doing that night, she will, but for one day they all focused on what they had to be thankful for. Each other.”
