According to UK’s The Daily Mirror, the two actresses have been tipped for the lead role in a movie about Princess Diana.

The film will evoke the years before Lady Di’s divorce from Prince Charles, just after she gave birth to Prince Harry, based on David Wharfe’s 2007 book “Diana: Closely Guarded Secret.”

Stephen Evans, the producer of the film, has said: “The emphasis on this really is authenticity and to discover what she went through. Unless you are a Diana freak, quite a lot of it will be unknown to the audience.”

“The movie’s not saying she is unbelievably wonderful or she’s a pain in the neck, the audience can make their own view,” he added.

Evans also admitted that they are looking at “relative unknowns” and “one or two very famous people” for the part.
