Chelsea Handler calls Angelina Jolie “a woman to avoid” and Jennifer Aniston “irreverent”

Chelsea Handler seems to enjoy bashing Angelina Jolie and gush at the same time over her new friend, Jennifer Aniston.

In an interview for Glamour magazine, Katie Couric asked Handler about the comments she made during a recent New Jersey stand-up performance, in which she called Angelina a “homewrecker.”

“I’m not a fan,” Chelsea responded. “She just doesn’t come off to me as a sincere woman. She seems like a woman that you’d really want to avoid.”

As for Aniston, with whom Handler had recently vacationed in Mexico, the comedian had nothing but good words to say.

“Jennifer Aniston makes me laugh,” she said. “She’s irreverent and hilarious, and she sends me really, really funny e-mails.”

“I think it’s important to be politically incorrect,” she continued. “You don’t want to be nasty, and you don’t want to be malicious. But it’s okay – I mean, funny trumps everything in my mind.”

However, things got a little too nasty when Chelsea made a series of racially insensitive jokes about some of Jolie’s children during a comedy show.

In response, Handler defended herself by saying, “I’ve been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made out with her brother.”
