David Arquette rules out any chance of reconciliation with Courtney Cox

Until now, the Cougar Town actress and her ex husband appeared determined to save their marriage after more than twelve years of union and for the sake of their daughter Coco.

But during an interview with Howard Stern, Arquette revealed that his heart now belongs to his new girlfriend, television reporter Christina McLarty.

“No, its not a rebound,” he said, adding that he was happy and in love.

But the radio host wanted to know more and asked: “If Courtney said to you, “David, I made a mistake I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house, I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.” Would you consider it?”

The Scream star replied: “Uh, I mean, no.”

The 40-year-old then revealed that Cox had been devastated when he confessed to her that he was in love with another woman: “She was sad, we were both sad. We both cried.”

Cox and Arquette broke up in the summer of 2010. The two have a daughter, Coco, together.

Rumors of a reconciliation surfaced after Courteney offered support to her ex-husband as he took part in the Dancing With The Stars competition.
