“Dexter” Stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are divorcing

The two met in 2006 while shooting the hit series “Dexter”, in which they play the roles of brother and sister. Two years after their meeting, the actors said “yes” for better or for worse.

In January 2010, Michael C. Hall, 39, announced that he had cancer, a disease that he eventually fought with great courage, supported by his wife.

“I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care,” Hall said in April.

Now healed, everybody thought that the good times would return to the actor until the divorce announcement was made by his rep: “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”
