Father to daughter: Michael Lohan’s song to Lindsay

According to reports, Michael Lohan has come up with a new song for daughter Lindsay.

To do so, Michael hired R&B singer Delious Kennedy, one of the members of the Grammy winning group All-4-One, to pen the track.

Michael says the song – entitled “My Rose” – is about a “talented and beautiful young lady who has grown in our hearts, she is badgered by paparazzi, cut down by the media … She will wilt, but when she falls, I will always be there to pick her up and put her pedals back on.”

The song is a companion piece to the “Daughter to Father” song that Lindsay wrote for her father. The song revolved around Michael’s parenting skills and how it influenced her.

In addition, Delious says the song is a club track with a dance vibe like Usher or Lady Gaga. The singer admitted to playing it for Michael and said that he “loved it.”

The chorus of the song goes like this: “The girl is like a rose garden. She falls back, springs forth and grows stronger with thorns.”
