John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their baby Benjamin are featured on the covers of the magazines People and Hello.
The couple had tried to have another child for three years. And last year they finally saw their dream come true.
Last year, the actors were “completely blown away!” when Preston, 48, learned she was pregnant, she tells People.
“It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this,” the couple wrote on Travolta’s official website. “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella.”
“For us it’s been uplifting,” Travolta, 56, reveals in Hello! “Especially when he smiles at me and seems contented in my arms. He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose.”
The child was born on November 23. “He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose,” the actor says.
The actor held his wife’s hand during contractions while their daughter Ella Bleu was awaiting the birth of her little brother in the company of actress Kirstie Alley, a good friend of the couple.
In January 2009, Travolta and Preston lost their 16-year-old son Jett, who died of a fatal seizure.
