George Clooney’s 50th birthday and a lost bet

Whether as a TV doctor, the “Sexiest Man Alive” or a coffee connoisseur, George Clooney makes womens’ hearts beat faster.

And that probably won’t change too soon, even if the Hollywood star is celebrating his 50th birthday today.

Even if, at 50, most men consider themselves to be “off market”, George Clooney is still bearing the coveted label of the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood.

He was born on May 6, 1961, in Lexington, Kentucky. The first steps of his career were pretty tough. He had to sleep for almost a year in the closet of a friend from Los Angeles.

Although he has been married once, to Talia Balsam, the actor, labelled by many publications as the sexiest man alive, said he won’t marry again and never wants to have kids.

Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman have bet on $ 10,000 each that Clooney will become a father before turning 40. They were wrong, but they got their money back, as the playful actor doubled the stake for the age of 50.

Since 2009, George Clooney’s love life is linked to that of Elisabetta Canalis, but no sign of marriage or children. It looks like the famous actresses have lost a bet today.
