Gwyneth Paltrow to sing country on CMA Awards

According to reports, actress Gwyneth Paltrow is set to sing a country song at the CMA Awards.

The reason that the Oscar-winning actress will sing is because in her new movie called Country Strong she plays the role of an alcoholic country music singer.

Besides, in a recent interview for People magazine, the actress revealed that she prepared month for this role and even studied how to play the guitar with the help of her husband, Chris Martin.

“He was so helpful, so sweet and encouraging. I mean, it’s embarrassing to be playing in front of your husband…especially when he’s in one of the world’s most successful bands.”

Country Strong is set to premiere in theatres on January 7th, 2011.
